  • Take 500 grams of green chillies, cut into pieces.
  • Take two onions, finely chopped.
  • Grind two tomatoes and take them in a bowl.
  • Take one teaspoon of crushed ginger and garlic paste, that is, take its paste as well.
  • Take two finely chopped green chillies.
  • Take one teaspoon of red chili powder.
  • Take half a teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  • Take one tablespoon of coriander powder.
  • Take a teaspoon of hot spices.
  • Take half a cup of coconut milk or as per taste.
  • Take three tablespoons of oil.
  • Take a little salt to taste.
  • Take a little fresh coriander for garnishing.

First step

In the first step, the khatal is prepared. While cutting the green khatal, apply a little oil on your hands. Peel the khatal, remove the seeds and cut it into pieces.

Add a little salt to the water and boil it for 10 to 15 minutes so that the khatal becomes a little soft. Then drain the water and keep it aside and dry it.

In the second step, we prepare the curry base. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies and cook for a minute until the oil separates from the spices.

In this stage we will add the spices and the khatal. First add the red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder and salt and mix well. Then add the boiled khatal and mix it with the spices.

Add a little water so that the curry becomes thick and the khatal absorbs the flavors of the spices well. Cook it on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.

Fourth step
